Ghoulies and ghosties and long-leggedy beasties
And things that go bump in the night ...

Ghostly Goings-On was hosted by Karen and took place in "Carolyne's Hall".

The hall was exactly the right size for our needs, with enough tables and chairs for the meal and enough armchairs to make for a comfy atmosphere.

A 3-course meal was served to the 13 members present, followed by the other business of the evening - scary stories, poems and real life tales.

Most Floosies read out something and when the spooky talk turned to reality, a few had some curious and odd accounts of things that had happened to them or to trusted friends and relatives.

At times, it was spine-chilling and could make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on end.

But, as Spike Milligan says:
Things that go bump in the night
Should not really give one a fright.
It's the hole in each ear
That lets in the fear,
That, and the absence of light!
