BATH CHRISTMAS MARKET
It started off as a very cold and damp day as the Floosies joined the coach at various pick up points for our day trip to the Bath Christmas Market. Everyone was in good spirits and as we approached Bath the sun came out to a lovely clear blue sky with not a cloud in sight. A perfect day for shopping.

On our arrival, we all made our way to the Market where we split up in our various groups to have a jolly good look around at all the lovely goods on display and to taste the various foods tempting us to try and buy. The array of different smells from the scented candles, to the various foods on offer was amazing. The Market was very busy for a Monday morning and every now and then we seemed to meet up with other Floosies and exchanged opinions on bargains (or not) that had been found there. Later in the day after lunch we seemed to move onto the main shopping area, where several Floosies were seen struggling with lots of bags so shopping had been a success it would seem.

After a really enjoyable day we all met back at the coach park ready for our journey home full of different tales to tell of what our day had been like. Janet, who was sporting a lovely new fluorescent green Scandinavian style hat, suddenly had to run back up to the Christmas Market ten minutes before the departure time back to Southampton, as it was realised some bottles of wine had been left for safe keeping at one of the stalls. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief on her return with the wine and that at least she had found the stall where it had been left!!! All agreed it had been a very successful and enjoyable shopping trip with perfect weather.
