June lives with her long term partner. She has two daughters, two step-daughters and one grandson.

June enjoys crafting, eating out, reading, travelling and days out.

She also has a Yorkshire Terrier called Henry who she loves to bits.

Janet has one daughter, two sons, 2 grandsons and one grand-daughter, plus 5 step-children and 8 step-grandchildren.

Retired and very overworked and extremely underpaid now trying to get rid of some of the work to enable more fun time and babysitting duties.

"Jasmine Jan"

Jan is married to Ken (2nd marriage) and has one son and two grandchildren.

Jan is involved in her church and enjoys flower arranging, walking and swimming!

She loves the fun with her new friends in the "flowershop"

"Snowdrop Sally"

Sally has just had her big birthday. She is married to Jerry and has 5 children – 3 girls and 2 boys. She also has 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 dogs.

Sally enjoys caravanning and travelling and spends a lot of time doing craft work of all kinds, including lace making, porcelain work and tapestry.

Sally loves reading and looking after the grandchildren.

"Jonquil Joan"

May be our eldest "florette" at 80 but is game for most things.

Widowed in 2000 (after 51 years of marriage), Joan has 5 of everything! 5 daughters, 5 sons-in-law, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.

Joan likes pottering in the garden and crafts (in a very small way).

"Hyacinth Kerria Karen"

Karen is very happily married with two grown-up children. She has worked contentedly as a medical secretary all of her working life and acts as secretary to her local Allotments and Gardens Association committee. She attends a local recording studio regularly to record news items for local visually-impaired people.

Karen enjoys going to the cinema, reading, handicrafts, shopping and travelling throughout Europe and the United States of America with her husband.

"Geranium George"

George is one of the older flowers in our "bouquet" and is the real gardener amongst us. She has two daughters, one son and ten grandchildren, all living in Southampton.

A member of the Trefoil Guild, Hampshire Rose Holder (25 years Brownie Guides) and a member of the W.I.

Georgina loves growing flowers, porcelain craft, reading, travelling in coaches and 'enjoying' life.

Molly likes writing poetry. She is currently researching for and writing a book.

With her husband, they had a business in stained glass windows and doors.

"Polyanthus Polly"

Polly is a widow with 2 daughters, 1 son and 5 grandchildren aged between 5 and 21.

Polly is a very active member of the Solent Lions Club and loves getting dressed up in sequins and spangles and going to their dinner dances.

She also loves going out and having fun with her friends in the "Bouquet".

Maureen was born in Hackney - a true cockney! She moved to Southampton in 1984 and has 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren. Maureen loves to spend time with family and friends and has been a member of "Solent Lions" for 12 years.

Maureen enjoys fund-raising and social events, time in the garden and growing plants for charity.

Marie has been married to Ken for 42 years! and has 2 married daughters, one who has twins - a boy and a girl and one who has a daughter.

Marie enjoys reading, family days out, eating out and playing with photography on the computer - making DVDs of the grandchildren and holidays.

Married to Mike for 40 years, they have just celebrated their Ruby Wedding anniversary. They have 4 children - 2 daughters and 2 sons and have recently retired from fostering over 45 children.

Angie enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, eating out and travelling.

"Aspidistra Anne"

Even younger than Juniper June, Ann is now our youngest "Florette". She is happily married to Colin, these past 27 years. They have two grown up children. Anne's daugher is married and lives in Wales with her husband and her son still lives in the same village as his parents. Anne is waiting for her first a grandchild to arrive.

"Angelica Angeline"

Angeline lives in Waltham Chase.  She has two sons and one grandson.

Angeline is a part time housekeeper on a private estate where she sometimes house-sits.
