What is the Evergreen Circle?
– so called because -
we are forever green – young minded and full of life and fun
we always wear green clothes to our events
we are a never ending circle of friends
see the Evergreen Circle page:
Imagine an evergreen tree. The tree has branches - the branches reach out to friends - the branches have buds on them.

We are a "Branch" of the Evergreen Circle and call ourselves "The Floral Floosies".

When did our "Branch" start?
We have been a ladies group for almost 4 years, but began life as The Floral Floosies in June 2009.

Who are we?
We are ladies from Southampton who are all aged over 50 who meet to enjoy friendship and fun - see our Reviews page

Who runs it?
There are a couple of "Branch Managers" who help keep us together.

What are members called?
Within our 'Branch', members are called "Buddies".  We also have some "Best Buddies" to assist with various aspects of the bouquet, such as sweepstakes and raffles etc.

What do we do?
We regularly meet on the 1st Saturday of each month for "Branching Out" at various venues and we meet again a couple of times during the month for outings.

Where do we go?
Our outings consist of meeting up for trips to tourist attractions, the theatre, restaurants, gardens, places of interest, etc.
We have a long weekend away every autumn.
To find out about our forthcoming events, please take a look at our
DIARY by clicking on the link.

What do we wear?
We wear GREEN clothes and ANY COLOUR hat or fascinator – and the more flowery or flamboyant the better.
We can have ANY COLOUR accessories (bags, shoes etc.) but 'florally' is best.

Who can join?
Anybody who is female and over 50 – from any walk of life and from any background.

Are there any rules?
Our main rule is that neither men nor children can take part in our events.  For our other rules, please click on the link – BRANCH RULES.

How much is it to join?
It costs £2 a month to be a member – this covers printing, postage and phone calls plus other administrative costs.

Each outing is then a “pay as you go” event.
